Task description:
- The Online Volunteer will support the strengthening of financial management systems for ERONet (Empowering Rural Opportunity Network), a community-based partner organization working in Northern Uganda. The volunteer will be responsible for designing a Core Finance Forms Toolkit to improve financial controls, accountability, and donor compliance. Specifically, the volunteer will:
- 1. Design 10 priority financial forms (Word/Excel templates) Payment Voucher Expense Requisition / Payment Request Form Official Receipt Petty Cash Voucher Activity Advance Request Form Advance Accountability (Liquidation) Form Payroll / Salary Schedule Template Local Purchase Order (LPO) Fixed Asset Register Template Budget vs Actual (Variance Report Template)
- 2. Develop a simple finance form coding system
- 3. Provide brief usage guidance for each form (1–2 pages per form), including: Purpose of the form Who prepares it Approval process Required supporting documents
- 4. Ensure all forms align with ERONet’s existing Financial Policy
Required experience:
- Proven experience in accounting, finance, or NGO financial management Experience developing financial templates, tools, or systems Strong understanding of internal controls and audit requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Languages:
- English, Level: Fluent, Required.
