Key Responsibilities:
The intern will work closely with the staff in the department and be involved in the following tasks: –
- Manning the ICT service desk and assigning tickets to the appropriate technicians.
- Provision of basic support to users of ICT Services.
- Performing routines diagnostics to ICT systems.
- Assist with setting up physical & virtual meetings.
- Cleanup of records in various ICT systems.
- Testing of new software and technical tools.
- Installing new software and hardware on endpoints.
- Delivering hardware and resources to staff as required.
- Perform other duties as may be allocated by the supervisor.
Position requirements:
The ideal candidate should : –
- Be currently enrolled for an undergraduate university degree program and is pursuing a bachelor’s in either Computers Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Possess good command in written and spoken English language.
